Where to Next?

Wow. What an incredible journey this has been!

Having left the corporate world and coming back to school has been such an incredible adventure! With only a couple weeks of school left I sit here contemplating everything that is going on, and everything that has brought me to this point, and I am amazed. With my degree in sight, I am ready to head out in this new direction. I have to admit that it is more than a little frightening, making a new start.

I am here, looking forward to whatever comes next. Having spent so many years working behind the scenes in the food business, I have seen firsthand how product images can help promote a product, and ultimately develop brand recognition. The plan is to take my experience in sales and marketing and combine it with the aesthetics and technical knowledge I have gained to help customers to build their own brand. I love to capture images that captures the essence of an organization or helps to motivate customers into making buying decisions. I am really excited to be stepping out into the realm of commercial photography and am looking forward to the opportunities ahead of me. My specialties are food and product images, and also taking portraits and “incognito” images of businesses and their staff that showcase who they are and what they have to offer.
